Designed by Alex McGruer and built by Challenger Yachts Ltd. (CAN) in 1973, the Challenger 24 is a compact masthead sloop with a displacement of 4000.0 lb. While the exact hull build count is unknown, this single-year production run represents a specific era of Canadian boatbuilding focused on lightweight performance.
