Designed by Julian Everitt and built by Evolution Yachts Ltd. (UK) from 1978–1984, the Evolution 22 is a compact masthead sloop with 90 hulls produced. Its lightweight displacement of 3260.0 lb and high SA/D ratio of 15.54 indicate a design prioritizing performance and ease of handling over heavy offshore comfort.
