9 of this version (TM) of the Carib 41 were built. Besided having taller masts, they also had teak interiors and deeper draft. 30 more were produced of similar design for the charter trade.
The Carib 41 TM is a rare, heavy-displacement cruising sloop designed by Alan Gurney and built by Whitney Corp. with a production run of only 9 hulls in 1970. Its substantial build quality and classic design reflect the high-end custom nature of Whitney's output during that era.
