About the ANDREWS 39
Prototype was 'Allegiance', 1st in class and 2nd over all at the 1984 SORC. Tooling was created for production but only one additional boat was built. Thanks to 'SPB' for providing additional information.
The Andrews 39 is a rare, high-performance fractional sloop designed by Alan Andrews and built by Dencho Marine in the USA. With only 2 hulls constructed in 1983, this vessel represents a unique, low-production entry in the 1980s performance cruiser market.
