About the GODERICH 35
Also called HUROMIC 35. Several 35s were modified to 37 feet with an extended stern overhang and offered with a ketch rig option. This design pioneered the radius bilge method of forming a metal hull.
The Goderich 35 is a rare, heavy-displacement steel cruiser designed by Ted Brewer and built by Huromic Metal Ind. Ltd. in 1977, with an unknown total production count. Its substantial 17000.0 lb displacement and full keel design reflect a focus on seakeeping and durability over speed.
