About the FD 12
The FD 12 (or FLYING DUTCHMAN 12) was imported into the USA by Willem Eickholt and Associates. some 25 FD-12s were built by the Ta Yang (Tayana) yard in Taiwan from the mid 70's to mid 80's.
The FD 12 is a rare, heavy-displacement cutter designed by Eva Hollmann and built by Ta Yang in Taiwan between 1974 and 1985, with only 25 hulls produced. Its substantial build quality and specific design lineage make it a unique find for buyers seeking a robust, classic offshore cruiser.
