About the C&C 3/4 TON
The 'semi custom' C&C 3/4 TON was the first design by Rob Ball for C&C yachts. The hull and sailplan are the same as that of the slightly later production version of the C&C 33-1. Thanks to C&C 3/4 TON owner 'waeshael' for providing information and photo of this yacht.
Designed by C&C and built by Bruckmann/C&C Yachts, the C&C 3/4 TON is a rare, heavy-displacement cruiser with only 15 hulls constructed in 1974. Its substantial 9800.0 lb displacement and 237.24 D/L ratio reflect a design prioritizing seakeeping comfort over raw speed.
