Designed by Andrew C. Vavolotis and built by Cape Dory from 1964–1973, the Cape Dory 14 is a compact trailerable sloop with a production run of 652 hulls. Its lightweight displacement of 200.0 lb and Gunter rig configuration reflect its origins as a simple, manageable daysailer.
