About the WEST SOLENT ONE-DESIGN
Originally called WEST SOLENT RESTRICTED CLASS. In 1925 5 boats to this design were built for export to Argentina where they became the LOS INDIOS CLASS. The WEST SOLENT ONE-DESIGN raced as a class around the UK into the 1950's. It is thought that at least 10 are still sailing. (2011)
