About the SOUTHERLY 48/480
The original design by Oscar Mayr was the Discovery 48. The Southerly 480 (2018) was the Discovery 48 with a swing keel. After Discovery Yachts closed its doors in 2021, the name was changed briefly to Southerly 48 but was rebranded back to the 480 in 2023 when Concept Yachts purchased the rights to the Southerly brand. Ballast: 3,990 kg / 8,796 lbs.
