About the POITIN 24 (ABLE)
The 24 was commonly called Poitin (not Pointin) for most of its production. AKA Able Poitin or Evelyn 24. At the end of the run some were built by Recreation Marine in Warren RI. Recreation marine called it the Pointin 24 (not Poitin) (Thanks to Even Ide for updates.) Masthead or fractional rig. Boats were built on a semi-custom basis and all dimensions vary. Fractional rig: I: 28.0' J: 8.8' P: 30.0' E: 11.0'
