About the PIERCE ARROW 18
Freedom Yachts, Rockford, Ill. (not to be confused with Freedom Yachts founded by Garry Hoyt). Also known as the Preston 19. Mark Leonard, designed the boat. He and his brother Matthew built the plugs and molds for this boat in Machesney Park, IL. Later, Matthew purchased a set of parts from Mark and built molds and boats with this same design under the name Preston Yachts, located in Oak Creek, WI (USA) (1987-1990), This was the Preston 19.
