About the MACWESTER 26
The MACWESTER 26 was the first yacht built by Macwester and had a long production run. Interiors varied greatly. A Mark II version with a slightly larger rig was introduced in 1971. Soon afterwards the 26 was replaced with the MACWESTER 27.
Designed by C.S.J.Roy and built by Macwester Marine (UK) from 1964–1972, the Macwester 26 is a compact cruiser with 400 hulls produced. Its design emphasizes stability and comfort, featuring a displacement of 6720.0 lb and a beam of 9.17 ft, making it a substantial vessel for its 26.0 ft LOA.
