About the LOUISIANE 37
The LOUSIANE 37 was Fountaine-Pajot's first cruising catamaran model. Keels replaced centerboards on later models.
Designed by M. Joubert/ B. Nivelt and built by Fountaine-Pajot (FRA) from 1983–1988, the Louisiane 37 is a distinctive catamaran with 80 hulls built. It offers a fractional sloop rig and a displacement of 8818.0 lb, balancing performance with the stability typical of Fountaine-Pajot's early production.
