S&S# 1001/1001G The first two boats, the original Loki, and Chance, the second in the class, were both built by Albert Lemos in his Riverside, RI boatyard. 9 boats by Heidtmann, (1953). All were rigged as yawls.
The Loki 38 is a rare, classic Sparkman & Stephens design built by A. Lemos, H. Heidtmann, and Nevins between 1949 and 1955, with only 12 hulls constructed. Its scarcity and pedigree make it a significant collector's item among vintage sailing enthusiasts.
