About the LARCHMONT O CLASS
Designed to the Universal rule though this was a one-design class commissioned by members of the Larchmont Y.C. (East Coast USA) Not actually raced as a class until the end of WW1 (1918) A marconi sloop rig was adopted around 1928 (also designed by Gardner). Last reported fleet racing took place in 1938. Boats were seen into the late 1950's.
