AKA INTREPID 30. Said to be a revised/updated version of the INTREPID 28, (in turn, based on the GRAMPIAN 28). Intrepid Yachts was a division of Cape Dory Yachts.
The Intrepid 9M is a compact, heavy-displacement cruiser designed by Jim Kyle and Rolf van der Sleen, built by Intrepid Yachts/Cape Dory between 1979 and 1981 with a total production of 40 hulls. Its substantial displacement of 7700.0 lb and ballast of 3100.0 lb provide a stable platform that prioritizes seakeeping over raw speed.
