About the GRAVES 37
When Chrysler spun off its Marine division, they formed Texas Marine International. TMI commissioned Jim Taylor to design a 37 footer, the TMI 37. TMI closed after finishing just one boat. That boat became the Graves 37. Later, the Graves 37 became the Starflight 38, built by Starflight Yachts of Waterloo Ontario, CAN. The numbers built for either one is unknown.
The Graves 37 is a classic American cruising sloop designed by Jim Taylor and built by Graves Yacht Yard in 1980. With a displacement of 16220.0 lb and a comfort ratio of 27.56, it is engineered for stable, comfortable offshore passage-making.
