Based on the earlier TRIANGLE 32, the GRAMPIAN 34 is entirely different from the later GRAMPIAN 2-34.
Designed by Charles Angle and Axel Schmidt and built by Grampian Marine Ltd. (CAN) from 1972–1977, the Grampian 34 is a robust ketch with a limited production run of 50 hulls. Its heavy displacement of 12000.0 lb and high comfort ratio of 30.2 reflect a design prioritizing stability and seakeeping over speed.
