About the GOLDEN SHAMROCK 30
Based on the prototype 'Silver Shamrock', winner of the 1976 Half Ton cup. A cruising version with a much larger cabin house was called the CLUB SHAMROCK and built by Southern Shipyard, (UK). (record renamed from SHAMROCK 30 10/11).
The Golden Shamrock 30 is a rare, high-performance cruiser designed by Ron Holland and built by Southcoast Boat Works (IRE) in 1976, with only 10 hulls produced. Its lightweight displacement of 7055.0 lb and fin keel configuration reflect a design philosophy prioritizing speed and agility over heavy displacement comfort.
