About the GIB'SEA 90 PLUS
Originally intended for competition in the Solitaire du Figaro.(1989) (Single handed IOR 1/2 ton level racing during this period.) A tamer, cruising version, with masthead rig, the GIB'SEA 90, was introduced a year later. Of both versions it said that 40 were built.
The Gib'Sea 90 Plus is a compact, heavy-displacement cruiser designed by Jacques Fauroux and built by Gilbert Marine between 1982 and 1984. With a production run of only 40 hulls, this rare vessel combines a fractional sloop rig with a fin keel to deliver a comfortable, stable ride.
