45' LOA including bowsprit. Derived from the ISLANDER 40MS, (originally designed by Charles Davies, also built by Cheoy Lee??). Updated with interior re-design by Robert Perry.
Designed by Charles Davies and Robert Perry and built by Islander Yachts (USA), the Freeport 41 is a rare staysail ketch with only 30 hulls constructed in 1974. Its substantial 22000.0 lb displacement and 31.32 comfort ratio reflect a heavy, motion-dampened design intended for serious cruising.
