A third tank in the aft captain's cabin was available as an option and can be found in some builds. This tank allowed for additional water or fuel, owner's choice during the build. Designed by German Frers and built by Alberto Cibil in Argentina, the F&C 44 is a robust ketch-rigged cruiser with 66 hulls constructed between 1978 and 1992.
