About the FAN 22
Designed to the IOR Mini Ton rule and for lake sailing in Switzerland, the FAN 22 is a multi chine design with four berth accommodation. All information courtesy of designer.
Designed by Julian Everitt and built by Bootswerft Thoma in Switzerland, the Fan 22 is a compact fractional sloop with a production run of 75 hulls from 1977–1985. Its lightweight displacement of 1987.0 lb and high SA/D ratio of 22.22 indicate a design prioritizing performance and agility over heavy cruising comfort.
