About the EXCALIBUR 26

Approximately 25 EXCALIBUR 26s were built by Excalibur Marine Corp in the mid 60s. Another 200 or so were produced when the molds were purchased by Islander Yachts. Later, a few more were built when Iona Yachts acquired the molds.

Designed by William Crealock and built by Excalibur Marine/Wayfarer Yacht Corp. (USA), the Excalibour 26 is a compact coastal cruiser with a production run of 220 hulls completed in 1967. This single-year production model represents a specific era of American fiberglass boatbuilding, offering a lightweight, performance-oriented package that has seen significant modernization through owner upgrades.
