About the ERIC 32
(Atkin design # 144) Though only a handful were were built, (in the 1920's) to the original plans, this became one of Atkins most influential designs. The best known boat, said to be based on the ERIC design is Robin Knox-Johnston's 'Suhaili', which made the first single handed non-stop voyage around the world.
