About the DUFOUR T7

The most unique feature of T7 is a manually adjustable jibing centerboard. (Fitted on later hulls). Also available with a masthead rig. All boats have the center cockpit, but a number of changes to the interior were made during it's production run.

Designed by Jean-Louis Noir and built by Dufour between 1980 and 1983, the T7 is a compact 21.75 ft fractional sloop with a production run of 250 hulls. Its lightweight displacement of 2360.0 lb and high sail area-to-displacement ratio of 21.44 indicate a design prioritizing speed and agility over heavy seakeeping.
