About the DIXIE 27
Early models were masthead. Andersson modified the rig in 1978. Many were sold in kit form. Layout and other details vary. Thanks to Dixie 27 owner Håkan Jonsson for updates and drawing.
Designed by Bernt Andersson and built by CN Marine from 1976–1982, the Dixie 27 is a compact coastal cruiser with a production run of 300 hulls. Its fractional sloop rig and 5071.0 lb displacement offer a balance of performance and stability for its 27.13 ft LOA.
