About the DEHLER 25
Like the earlier DEHLER/DEHLYA 22, intended as a trailer sailor, with a drop keel (375 kg.), additional water ballast and retractable cassette type rudder arrangement. (Though a fixed keel version was also available.) Thanks to DEHLER 25 owner Philip from Sweden for providing corrections and additional details. Also called DEHLYA 25. Diesel inboard available as an option.
Designed by E. G. van de Stadt and built by Dehler (GER) from 1984–1995, the Dehler 25 is a lightweight fractional sloop with 350 hulls produced. Its low displacement of 3245.0 lb and D/L ratio of 139.25 define it as a performance-oriented day sailor rather than a heavy cruiser.
