Sailpages Buyer's Take

Designed by Lee Creekmore and built by Roberts & Matthews (USA) in 1979, the Creekmore 7M is a compact, lightweight trailer-sailer with a build count of ?. Its 23.16 ft LOA and 2600.0 lb displacement reflect a design prioritizing ease of transport and handling over heavy offshore comfort.

Best for:
This boat suits coastal cruisers and trailer-sailors seeking a manageable, single-handed capable vessel for day sailing and short overnight trips. Its light displacement and fin keel make it ideal for shallow waters and easy launching.
Bluewater capability:
With a low displacement of 2600.0 lb and a comfort ratio of 13.36, the Creekmore 7M is not designed for bluewater cruising and is best restricted to protected coastal waters.
Comparables:
Comparable to other 1970s-80s trailer-sailers like the O'Day 23 or Catalina 22, the Creekmore 7M shares a similar role as a portable, family-friendly day sailor. However, its lighter displacement (2600.0 lb) distinguishes it from heavier, more stable cruising designs.
