The most unique feature of the CORONET/ELVSTROM 38 MS is the below-the-waterline bulbous bow. Botved was a Danish builder of mostly power boats. When they went out of business in the late 1970', another yard aquired the molds and built a slightly modified, MII version, at least into the late 1980's.
Designed by Paul Elvstrom and built by Botved Boats (DEN), the Coronet/Elvstrom 38 MS is a classic Danish cruiser with 350 hulls produced between 1974 and 1986. Its design emphasizes a balanced blend of performance and comfort, characterized by a 13000.0 lb displacement and a 24.71 comfort ratio.
