Sailpages Buyer's Take

The Core Sound 20 Mark 3 is a lightweight, performance-oriented trailer sailer designed by B&B Yacht Designs and built starting in 2014. With a displacement of 1500.0 lb and a cat ketch rig, it offers a balance of speed and ease of handling, though specific build counts remain unverified.

Best for:
This boat is ideal for coastal cruisers and trailer-sailers seeking a responsive, single-handed friendly vessel that is easy to transport and launch.
Bluewater capability:
With a low displacement of 1500.0 lb and a comfort ratio of 10.0, this boat is designed for coastal and bay cruising rather than extended offshore passages.
Comparables:
Comparable to other modern trailer-sailers like the O'Day 232 or Catalina 22, but distinguished by its lighter displacement and cat ketch rig which offers better balance and easier reefing.
