Hull from earlier Nelson Marek IOR design but with flush deck. Built by Catalina Yachts specifically for the Congressional Cup match racing series. A fleet is maintained by the Long Beach (CA) Sailing Foundation. aka CATALINA 37.
Designed by Nelson Marek and Gerry Douglas, the Capri 37 is a rare production yacht with only 31 hulls built in 1990 by Catalina Yachts. This limited run represents a specific iteration of the Capri line, distinct from the more common Capri 32 or 36 models.
