About the BRIES
(VDS #167) When first introduced, the BRIES had a transom mounted rudder. This was soon changed to a balanced spade rudder. Another version, built slightly later in the UK, was the OFFSHORE 8 METER. Thanks to OFFSHORE 8M owner 'maduza' for for providing corrections.
