An evolution of the PDQ ANTARES 42. Antares is the company that has formed since PDQ ceased production in 2002. (PDQ still exists as a builder of Power Cats.) The newest versions, the ANTARES 44 GT and Hybrid are built in Argentina (edited 2022).
Designed by Ted Clements and built by PDQ/Antares Yachts, the Antares 44 is a distinctive fractional sloop with a beam of 21.75 ft and a displacement of 22500.0 lb. Production records indicate the model was built in 2003, with the exact total hull count remaining unverified in current data sources.
