The ABBOTT 33 evolved from the SCAN-KAP 99, designed by Jan Larson and built in Denmark.

Designed by Jan Larsen and built by Abbott Boats in Canada, the Abbott 33 is a compact, lightweight cruiser with only 40 hulls constructed in 1980.
